Lost Luck
I walked a road that turned to dust
Where every step betrayed my trust
With empty pockets hands in rust
Dreams once golden now combust
Where shadows grew around my feet
Echoes of silence ghosts I greet
In crowded rooms left incomplete
Hearts forgot their steady beat
Oh I danced with the stars above
Then fell to earth far from their love
Lost in the shuffle push and shove
Luck flew away like a mourning dove
Each tear I wiped a moonlit scar
A journey long without a star
From endless nights to morning’s bar
The finish line always seemed too far
I searched for light amid the rain
In broken mirrors sought my gain
Whispered my story to the pain
Hoping one day it’d wane
Hands reached out but slipped away
In the winds my cries would sway
Million voices heard me pray
In the end I lost my way
